SUBJECT-VERB AGREEMENT
Subject-Verb Agreement (SVA) means that the verb must match the subject of the sentence.
If the subject is singular (one person/thing), the verb usually ends with -s.
Example: She walks to school.
If the subject is plural (two or more people/things), the verb does not end with -s.
Example: They walk to school.
It’s like the subject and verb are “friends” — they have to agree to sound correct.
Now, let’s practice with a fun game!
You’ll see 5 sentences at a time. Choose the correct verb to match the subject.
When you finish, you’ll unlock a new set of sentences. Try to get them all right. Good luck and have fun!
